KINDNESS COMMUNITY VEGAN COOKBOOK

THIS COOKBOOK IS ALSO COLLECTED BY EDGAR’S MISSION TO RAISE FUNDS TO PAY FOR THIS AMAZING ANIMAL RESCUE FARM IN AUSTRALIA.

From heart-warming soups and bowls that nourish the soul, to cheesy bakes and mind-blowing curries that feed a crowd, this cookbook has something for everyone. There are tasty quick fixes for lunches and weeknights, clever ways to veganise classic dishes, and sweet treats to share with loved ones. Plus a heap of information for living a plant-based life, including vegan hacks, super substitutes and pantry essentials.

The recipes were gifted to Edgar's Mission by our Kindness Community: everyday home cooks, chefs and nutritionists who really care about the food on their plates. INSPIRED

A CHARITY COOKBOOK  FOR THE STROUD WOMEN’S REFUGE

During the 2020 lockdown, Carl, a personal trainer near Stroud, where I live in the UK, was forced to close his doors. He put his spare time to good use and created a fundraising cookbook for the Stroud Women’s Refuge.

A place that relies solely on the generosity of donors to offer accommodation and support services to women and their children who have been affected by domestic abuse.

He collected over 50 recipes from famous chefs, local restaurants… and me! :)

Maybe you know someone that might like a mixture of diets in their cookbooks?

It’s not all vegan and gluten-free, and definitely not sugar-free, but it’s an honest, generous, versatile and interesting, colourful book, check it out yourself.

All proceeds of the sales of the book go to the Stroud Womens Refuge. How absolutely amazing is that?

Sorry if you live in Australia, I guess this is more relevant for the Europeans, but nevertheless it’s such an interesting cause that it might inspire you across the seas in some way.

Interwoven between each section of recipes are words of encouragement and support that will hopefully help you grow in confidence and inspire you to cook more.

You’ll find facts and figures about the Refuge that may stir emotions, and prompt you to find out more about how you can support.

Alongside Tom Kerridge, Diana Henry, Thomasina Miers, the book features recipes from local favourites such as Jolly Nice, Wilder and the Bell at Selsley (oh…and me!).

This cookbook is self-funded by Carl himself, it's called INSPIRED and costs £20, and all recipes are donated by the chefs and make no profit from it.

You can order your copy here.

Enjoy.
